In our workshop we have a chassis dynamometer (MAHA LPS 3000 up to 1000 KM), thanks to which we are able to perform many useful services. This device is adapted to work with trucks that we deal with on a daily basis. Thanks to the fact that we have a chassis dynamometer, we are able to check the technical condition of the engine and other components, as well as introduce modifications aimed at improving efficiency and reliability.

Using a chassis dynamometer, we simulate driving around the city, highway and other conditions. This allows us to check exactly what parameters the engine provides before and after modifications. What's more, braking is perfect for optimizing the operation of LPG, CNG and LNG installations. Thanks to simulations, we are able to fine-tune the operation of fuel delivery control systems and set them to maintain the perfect balance between performance and economy.

 

How does a chassis dynamometer work?

If you are wondering how a chassis dynamometer works, we will gladly present it to you live in our workshop. It is a device that measures the performance of the engine and other components. The test is carried out by driving the wheels of the car onto rollers and simulating driving around the city or at high speed. The device is packed with sensors, and the vehicle itself is connected to a specialized computer. After a few tests, you can see what the engine power and torque are and in which ranges it performs best. Then modifications are made to optimize its work!
